Okay, if you didn't get that Princess Bride reference, I'm not sure we can be friends. :)
So anyway, after a blissful two weeks in Hawaii, I'm back and blogging again! I got married, which was awesome, in fact way more awesome than I thought it would be. I mean, I witness some pretty cool weddings on a weekly basis - wasn't sure how mine would measure up. But as it turns out, matrimony is different when it's your own.
And I cried too, which was unexpected. I am forever grateful to our photographer for capturing all the in-between moments where I looked fairly composed on my walk down the aisle instead of the ones where I am a blubbering baby. Not sure what happened there.
Anyway, we had 26 of our closest friends and family fly to Hawaii to celebrate with us (and some cheering us on from 5,000 miles away). I have to say, this wedding was great for my ego. Who knew all those people liked me enough to turn our wedding into their vacation? I kid, I kid.
And of course everyone's been asking me, "How was it - getting photographed at your own wedding?" The honest answer is there were definitely a few times I wanted to jump in and be like, dude, did you get it? And I was secretly plotting how I could steal a look at the back of the camera, but I managed to resist the urge. I have to say, Ken Kienow is amazing! We could not be happier with our wedding photos, and I came back to Maryland with a renewed appreciation for my job and the HUGELY important role I play in the best day of people's lives.

The photos are incredible, you were beautiful, the ceremony was perfect, the vacation was amazing.. I'm running out of adjectives here but I want to express how fantastic it all was! I won't be over it for a while.
