43 books?! Dang! Good work. What was the BEST book you read last year?

Hmmm... good question. I think the best book I read last year would have to be "The Tender Bar" by J.R. Moehringer. Amazing. It was sincere, well-written and the most touching memoir I think I've ever read. "A Prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving was awesome as well. Both of these books made me cry. (Which I try not to do very often, so it is definitely the mark of a good read.)

I recommend A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers. If you haven't read it yet.
